| | The course | A brief History & Introduction
Welcome to the finest rural golf course that Hertfordshire has to offer.
Keith, Sally & Andrew Smith founded Whitehill in 1988. The course was carefully constructed on their farmland in keeping with the beautiful natural countryside. Keith, Andrew, Stephen James PGA professional and our green staff adapted the course layout from the original design by Reg Plumbridge.
The course is undulating and well place ponds and bunkers along with a variety of trees add to the well groomed fairways and greens.
At 6802 yards the Par 72 course provides a stern test for the low handicapper whilst providing an enjoyable game for the higher handicapper. Firm greens and well draining fairways provide golf 364 days a year, where the challenge changes with the season.
We are a family club open to both members and non-members for all age groups. We are situated within easy access to the M11 and M25 motorways. Just a few minutes drive off the A10 brings you to the rural tranquillity - the only sounds that you hear on the course will be the wildlife.
Remember Whitehill golf is for the discerning golfer - There are no strangers here only friends you have not yet met.
As from 1 May 2006 the Clubhouse has become non smoking. Smoking is however permitted on the patio area.

| | Practice facilities | The Driving Range
The use of the Centre's 21 bay floodlit Driving Range provides an ideal all round practice facility for those keen to improve their game. Practice targets are provided. The Range is open 7 days a week from 7:00am to 10:00pm weekdays and 7:00am to dusk at weekends. Tokens available from as little as £2.50 for a bucket of balls.
Grass Bays
During the summer months grass bays and practice bunkers are also available.
Putting Green
A 9 hole irrigated putting green is available where practice can be enjoyed in silence.

| | Bar | The 19th hole is an important meeting place and a great place to relax both before and after your game.
Food is served from 8am to 5pm which can be enjoyed in the restaurant area or on the terrace which affords a beautiful view of the course.

Full Sunday lunches are available from the restaurant.
Function room
We cater from every need from Weddings, Christenings, Birthday Parties, Formal Dinners, Cabarets, to Breakfast Meetings and Conferences.We can cater for as little as 10 people up to a maximum of 150.
We can tailor the Function Room to everyone's needs and a dance floor is available for all functions.
